Triplets Milo, Otis, and Della’s lives are very different from other kids. They’re too big for second grade, they don’t know when they’ll have food for lunch, and they don’t go home if their father is in a bad mood. They know their Mama spends more time in the hospital than other mothers. They know she is sad again. One afternoon, the triplets meet Calico, an odd boy with an odd name. They accept him quickly. As Daddy and Mama get worse, each child finds new ways to cope - some safer than others.

As their younger selves break apart, twist off, and blend up their corporeal forms to prove their dedication to The Craft, their adult selves reflect on how these experiences shaped them, for better or for worse.

Following the sudden death of a classmate, eight sorority execs run, drink, and draft tribute statements; After all, everyone grieves in different ways. Over the course of a school year, alongside attending classes, hosting parties, and organizing rush events, the girls realize that their dead classmate may not have been as much of a Good Guy as the memorial posts seem to suggest. As fall turns to winter, then to spring, the trees mirror the girls’ progression from deterioration to healing.

Paranoia spreads as villagers mysteriously sprout buboes, cough blood, then drop dead. After Catherine’s sister Bonaventura falls ill, her family encourages her to live like there’s no tomorrow. Too bad that in 14th Century Siena, Italy, the paths for a sixteen-year-old girl are limited: marry young or become a nun. Catherine of Siena follows the coming-of-age of Catherine Benincasa, a Catholic mystic turned Saint, as she confronts her grief and commits her life to serving Christ and comforting others through holiness, resilience, and generosity.

Marlo and Mazie’s mom died. Just died. Marlo has stopped eating and started scratching again, and Mazie is desperately trying to maintain a sense of normalcy. Marlo pays little attention to their estranged father who has just moved back in, while Mazie is doing everything she can to win his affections. As the funeral date looms ahead, both sisters begin to suffocate in unspoken words and unanswered questions: how did mom die? Whose fault was it? And will things ever go back to the way they were?
